My Story: Lisa Cronin

My progress plateaued about a year ago, so when I started this journey at the beginning of May I was not optimistic I would show a scale victory at the end. I was surprised when I did and this has made me even more excited to continue this journey. I’ve let the small victories keep me going and feeling better. I’ve realized being healthy is what’s important, and I must give my body time to heal itself from 40 years of abusive diets and food choices. I was somewhat panicked about only having 30 days to figure out a workout program. We live in a very rural area and the closest gym is a one hour drive. So, with a treadmill, a gym, and a Pilates DVD I made the commitment of doing something twice a week. By the end of this challenge, I was hitting a workout 4 sometimes 5 days a week.
